I arrived at the hotel hot and tired, hoping for a restful stay. The rooms were extremely warm, and a fan would have been very welcoming. However, they did have comfortable beds. Unfortunately, the location was directly opposite a very noisy pub, The King's Head.

Rooms

The rooms were extremely warm, could use a fan, but the beds were comfortable.
Service
8.0
The staff were equally friendly and efficient, although I had to attract their attention on arrival. They worked hard and were friendly. Housekeeping was incredibly professional and helpful.
Location
7.0
The location is good but no parking nearby and no breakfast. However, it is perfect right on the shore opposite the pier in Cromer's most impressive building with a lot of history. A real old-fashioned hotel just like they used to be. Although there was no breakfast, the value for money was excellent.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was okay, but on the day, the only toaster was broken, so no toast with breakfast. The service finished at 10 am, and I missed out because of a misleading schedule. I had to get my breakfast elsewhere, which was very disappointing.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had nice facilities, but there were some mismanagement issues in the dining area.

5.6/10

The hotel has potential with a central location and sea view, but falls short in terms of outdated decor and noise levels. The rooms could use improvement with noise disturbances and a stale atmosphere, but lack proper furnishing. The service was somewhat inflexible despite being helpful. The location offers great views but lacks proper catering and bar service. The dining experience was a mix of good and bad. Overall, the hotel has both positive and negative aspects to consider.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were noisy due to inconsiderate guests and had a neglected care home vibe with limited furniture.
Service
7.0
The service was helpful but rigid about check-in times.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel, enjoying the fantastic sea views from my room. The location was ideal right above the pier, but there was some noise from a nearby pub. The staff were very friendly and professional, making my experience delightful.

Rooms
7.0
My room had a fantastic sea view, although not at the front of the hotel. It was of a good size and provided a side sea view. However, it was directly opposite a noisy pub - The King's Head.
Service
9.0
The staff, particularly during walks on the beach, were friendly, polite, and eager to please. However, my full English Breakfast was delivered a bit too early, causing me to rush my cereal to prevent it from getting cold.
Location
8.0
The location was excellent, perfect for visiting Cromer Pier show as it was only a short walk away down the pavement ramps. The seafront views were amazing, but the noise from the nearby pub was noticeable.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was nice, with excellent food cooked to perfection. However, I felt a bit rushed as I wasn't given a chance to have starters before the main course. The soup was nice but could have been hotter for my taste.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were satisfactory, with compliments to the staff for maintaining high room cleanliness standards.
